The project guidelines were to design a deck of cards based on a theme while maintaining the standard card size, rounded corners, and orientation of a deck of playing cards. My approach was to use celestial bodies: the sun, moon, stars, and the Earth for each suite, and personified them for the royalty cards. All images painted digitally in Photoshop.
